Do you want to know what your customers think?
Back to BT Tradespace blog
With the launch of our new look site there are a number of great new features for you and your customers to use.
One of these is product reviews where buyers can now rate and review your products or services.
These ratings will appear on your products in the Marketplace and also in your own Tradespace. Even better is that when you get good reviews, your products have the chance to be featured in the ‘What’s Popular‘ sections on the Marketplace, giving you some free promotion!
So, how do they work?
A customer can add a review in 2 places, in the Marketplace or on your Tradespace. They both work in the same way. When looking at a product there is a link to ‘reviews’ and from here there is a ‘write a review’ button where customers can add their own rating and reviews of that product. They will be asked to select if their feedback is Positive, Neutral or Negative and leave a detailed comment.
How do I get customers to leave a review?
It’s a good idea when ever you sell an item or provide someone with a service through Tradespace you encourage them to go back to the site and leave you some feedback. You might want to add a link to the review page in their order confirmation email, or perhaps drop them a line a few days after your last contact with them to check they are happy and invite them to link back to Tradespace and write a review. Remember to thank them for their time and let them know you’d really appreciate their input.
Reviews are a great tool to help people who may not have purchased from you before gain trust in your products and brand. It also helps to develop relationships with your customers and find out what you might be able to do in the future to keep people coming back!
