Have your say!

Back to BT Tradespace blog

Comic Relief is almost here and nobody can doubt what an amazing success the annual fund-raising drive has been.
Since its launch in 1985, millions and millions of pounds have been raised for good causes at home and abroad, with more than £50 million distributed last year alone.
This year promises to be another great campaign and we are playing our part with the BT Red Nose climb of Mount Kilimanjaro and our Pose for the Nose competition. It’s the perfect time to reflect on other great charitable efforts, so this week we are staging a special Have Your Say poll on those people who have led the way in raising awareness of, and money for, the causes close to their hearts.
Do you think Sir Bob Geldof’s inspirational leadership of Live Aid or Sir Elton John’s unstinting support for AIDS make them the best charity advocates? Or perhaps you might believe cricket legend Sir Ian Botham is the ultimate champion of compassion with his gruelling walks for child leukaemia victims.
Former soldier Simon Weston, actress Joanna Lumley and the late Jane Tomlinson have all won huge admiration and respect for their tireless fund-raising activities. Or perhaps you feel Prince Charles and Princess Diana stand out for their kindness and commitment.
Please take a moment to cast your vote in our latest Have Your Say vote.

Princess diana is no longer with us, but I believe that she bought more media attention to charities than any other personality, for obvious reasons.

How do you feel about the economy in 2010?
